ON SKIN

The work draws inspiration from the skin and its associations.

Shedded skin, feathers, hair – anything that is inherently a part

of a living being, but doesn’t have to stay as such through all of

its life. The sculptures are made with the author's own

developed techniques. The work is a result of experimentation

with wet felting in combination with various surface treatments.

These may or also may not naturally degrade. This further

reinforces the notion of the discarded home, a shell, or overall a

part of identity.
